This is the band’s third studio production. Unlike the previous albums, it was produced in Lucid Dreams, LMDJ’s own studio. It features for the first time Charlot MC in the vocals in two tracks, and LMDJ themselves explore their vocal qualities in choruses and other experiments. In this album we can also hear strings, scratches and even a blender, timbres that hadn’t been explored by the band before. It also includes two bonus tracks. One is a previously unrecorded theme from the band’s early days, electronically recreated by our friend JM Salinas (DaPuntoBeat). The other one is a piece composed by Aldo Max for the film Pastorela (The Nativity Play, directed by Emilio Portes, 2011) and recorded by the Macedonian Radio Symphonic Orchestra and LMDJ. Our thanks to Edi Kistler’s (Liquits) collaboration in the production of three tracks for this Quasianimal.
